1. Minimum Attendance Requirement
- As per CBSE guidelines, a minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to be eligible for the final examinations.
- Students who fail to meet the attendance requirement may not be permitted to appear for exams, unless supported by valid reasons and approved by the Principal.
2. Daily Attendance
- Attendance is taken every morning during the first period.
- Students arriving after the attendance bell will be marked late.
- Three late arrivals in a month may result in disciplinary action.
3. Leave of Absence
- Leave must be applied for in advance through the leave application signed by parents.
- In case of illness, a medical certificate must be submitted for absences of more than two consecutive days.
- Long absences without prior information may be considered as a violation of school rules.
4. Absence on Examination Days
- Students must not remain absent on test or examination days.
- Absence during exams will be considered only if supported by a valid medical certificate.
- No re-examination will be conducted except under special circumstances approved by the school administration.
5. Early Departure
- Students will be allowed to leave school early only in emergencies.
- Parents must personally come to pick up the child and sign the Early Departure Register.
- Phone calls requesting early leave are not accepted.
6. Participation in School Activities
- Attendance is compulsory on special events such as:
- Independence Day & Republic Day
- Annual Day
- Sports Day
- School celebrations and academic programs
- Absence on these days without valid reason is discouraged.
7. Long Absences
- Students absent for more than 10 consecutive days without intimation may be removed from the school rolls.
- Re-admission will follow school rules and may require additional approval.
8. Parental Responsibilities
- Ensure that the child arrives at school on time every day.
- Avoid scheduling vacations, family functions, or personal trips during school days.
- Regularly check attendance updates provided by the school.
