1. Types of Assessments
The school conducts the following assessments throughout the academic year:
Formative Assessments / Periodic Tests
- Short tests conducted periodically
- Include class tests, assignments, quizzes, and projects
- Helps track continuous progress
Term Examinations
- Term-I Examination (Half Yearly)
- Term-II Examination (Final Examination)
- Covers a broader range of syllabus as per CBSE pattern
2. Assessment Pattern (as per CBSE)
- 80% marks from the written exam (Term-I and Term-II)
- 20% marks from internal assessments
- Periodic tests
- Notebook submission
- Subject enrichment activities
3. Examination Rules
- Students must carry their admit card, identity card, and required stationery.
- Late entry will not be allowed after the specified time.
- Use of unfair means, cheating, or inappropriate behavior will lead to strict disciplinary action.
- Talking, borrowing stationery, or disturbing others is strictly prohibited.
- Students must write their details clearly on the answer sheet.
4. Attendance Requirement
- Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory to appear for the final examinations.
- Medical cases will be considered only with valid documents.
5. Result & Promotion Policy
- Results will be declared as per the academic calendar.
- Promotion to the next class is based on overall performance:
- Term-I and Term-II exams
- Internal assessments
- Class behavior & participation
- No re-examination will be conducted except under special circumstances.
6. Parental Guidelines
- Parents are encouraged to track their child’s performance regularly.
- Avoid unnecessary leave during examination days.
- Ensure the student is well-prepared and maintains a healthy study routine.
7. Special Provisions
- Students with special needs will receive accommodations as per CBSE guidelines.
- Any grievances related to exams may be addressed to the Examination Department.
